Celtic School Cultural Project (March update)

Birmingham Irish • March 29, 2021

With schools reopening this month, everyone here at Birmingham Irish were so happy to hear that a first set of sessions had taken place at The Abbey Catholic Primary School in Erdington.

On the day of the first session, teachers kept the project secret from the pupils, so they would have a surprise treat for their first day back at school.

It's safe to say their faces were a picture when they found out, and they were so happy they were able to take their new musical instrument home to practice!

As an organisation, we would like to give special thanks to musician, Jobe Baker Sullivan of local band 'Ire-ish' and The Abbey Catholic Primary School, for going above and beyond to make these sessions so special, we can't thank you enough.

If you are a teacher, or are part of a school who would be interested in our sessions , please email jennifer@birish.org.uk for further information.
