Could you be our next volunteer?

Birmingham Irish • May 27, 2022

To ensure that our sessions consistently embody the atmosphere of an Irish family, that clients and their families know and love so well, we rely upon our wonderful team of volunteers to help us provide that love and warmth.

Therefore, we are always on the lookout for kind-hearted and helpful individuals to assist in delivering our mission, but at the moment, at our Ambrose Barlow Centre in Hall Green and at our Maryvale Centre in Kingstanding especially.

Volunteering at our Ambrose Barlow location would involve being available from 9:30am until 2pm on Fridays, and assisting with a variety of tasks, from setting up our room, participating in activities, meal preparation/serving and chatting with our clients.

At Maryvale, we are on the lookout for kind-hearted people who are available to join us on Mondays from 9am until 2pm as a Kitchen Volunteer, for basic food preparation and washing up duties.

For more information on our Ambrose Barlow vacancies please contact Sinead or Roisin using the contact details below, or alternatively, to hear more about our Maryvale roles, please contact Sharon or Roisin.
