Invitation to the Birmingham Pub Bombings Memorial Service 2022

Birmingham Irish • October 29, 2022

As so many of us will know, the memorial trees by the entrance of New Street station have provided relatives and the people of the city a place of reflection and remembrance for all those affected by that tragic night 48 years ago.

In keeping of this tradition since its opening, the Birmingham Irish Association and the Misneach committee will be holding a memorial service at the trees again this year.

We are delighted to announce that this service will see the official opening of permanent lighting on the memorial, which has only been made possible through the generosity of Network Rail and the Irish Government of Foreign Affairs Reconciliation fund who have funded this wonderful development together.

We invite all those to join with us on the 21st November 2022 at 6pm to remember all those who lost their lives and the many hundreds injured that night.
