Update on our hot meal & food parcel relaunch

Birmingham Irish • February 25, 2023

In January, as an organisation we were delighted to announce Birmingham Irish Association received an emergency food aid grant for a duration of 6 months.

Throughout the pandemic our amazing Staff team managed to serve the community each day by setting up our very own food bank. Members of the community in need were able to visit us and collect a food hamper and a hot meal, to which we expanded on our services and offered hot meal deliveries to individuals who were unable to travel.

The food bank project was a huge success and we managed to reach individuals and families in need throughout Birmingham during the pandemic.

On Monday 16th January we reopened our doors to serve the community in Birmingham.

We have offered hot food and food parcels each week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am. The service takes place at the St Anne's club.

Each week the news is spreading further out to the wider community, increasing the awareness of the service Birmingham Irish Association is providing.

This is a collection only service from the address below:

St Anne's Club

45 Alcester Street

Digbeth, B12 0PH

Please continue to spread the word, we are here to help.
