Wishing you all a belated Happy Easter

Birmingham Irish • April 29, 2022

On behalf of all at Birmingham Irish Association, we would like to extend to you all our belated Happy Easter.

To mark this very special occasion, we celebrated throughout the Association with parties, and we were elated to welcome some very special guests to our St Anne's Dementia Centre party, a lovely class from Holy Souls Catholic Primary School in Acocks Green who had previously taken part in our Dementia Awareness Workshops.

With fun filled crafts and an Easter bonnet parade, it's safe to say a delightful time was had by all, and we wholeheartedly thank Holy Souls for their incredibly generous donation to our Easter Egg Appeal.

We would also like to share colossal thanks to the wonderful members of our community, and also the brilliant supporters of Blues Central Travel. With their help, and the help of Holy Souls School, we have been able to collect 720 easter eggs this year, to donate to the Children's Trust and to the Bottleville Club's children's party on Easter Sunday.

To find out more about our Dementia Centre Awareness Workshops, please email our Children's' Support Worker Paulene via Paulene@birish.org.uk or to find out more about our Dementia Centres, please email Sinead@birish.org.uk
